Only negatives I've read about are some make the screen darker and harder to see in direct sunlight and if it's a touch screen it can be a bit finicky.
Well that is actually why I was asking. They were having a deal and I was considering making the purchase. I am glad to hear someone who has the RMP ones. I'm thinking it will worth the money to purchase.

If I'm on your Christmas list I need 2x for 2 Hummingbird Helix 12, 1x for a Helix 10, and 1x for a Garman 1222.

And here I was thinking my wife was high maintenance
I bought an anti glare for my 1197 and love it, i do have to run the brightness all the way up but normally do anyway. Just a cheap one off of eBay did it for me.
How exactly do they work / attach? Is this like tinted glass per say?
just like on a cell phone, wipe clean with lint free rag and lay it on screen. mine came with a small wipe rag and squeegee to push out any air bubbles.
