Are they worth the buy? Have a Helix 15 that I would sure hate to see something happen to. Let me know your thoughts.

Only negatives I've read about are some make the screen darker and harder to see in direct sunlight and if it's a touch screen it can be a bit finicky.

I use the RMP screen savers on my units. Love them. They are actual glass.
Got a cyber Monday sale on today.

Well that is actually why I was asking. They were having a deal and I was considering making the purchase. I am glad to hear someone who has the RMP ones. I'm thinking it will worth the money to purchase.

If I'm on your Christmas list I need 2x for 2 Hummingbird Helix 12, 1x for a Helix 10, and 1x for a Garman 1222.

Absolutely
Especially on a front unit. I bounced a 1 oz tungsten punching weight off the edge of mine.
Dont want to replace a big screen

I bought an anti glare for my 1197 and love it, i do have to run the brightness all the way up but normally do anyway. Just a cheap one off of eBay did it for me.

just like on a cell phone, wipe clean with lint free rag and lay it on screen. mine came with a small wipe rag and squeegee to push out any air bubbles.

Refreshing this thread to see if anyone has any updated reviews after installing. Are there other products worth considering, or is the consensus Russell Marine?

I bought some from Russell Marine. I like them a lot. Easy to install and very easy to keep clean. I would highly recommend. Protect your investment.
