I am sure this information is outdated, fished there a month ago. Fish were in 8-10 feet of water. We caught fish on heavy Texas rig creature baits, weightless senkos, and on a jerk bait.

Fishing is tough unless you know the lake really really well. All I can say is good luck.

Two of my buddies were there earlier this week and had 6 small fish. They are hard core too.

It’s just the time of year. Ivie gets tough around this time until the water cools because they spread out. You can find them but the majority of folks will struggle. Ivie is slowly going back to Ivie of the last 10 years.

Lousy cell service is intentional so our wives can’t bug us while fishing

When I was there this spring, I had to drive up to the hill on the south side of the dam to get service.

Headed down this afternoon or in the morning for a few days

The lack of cell service is one reason I like going down there
Your going fishing, not working

Well I can say so far that it’s TOUGH!
Only had 7 fish today
Caught them anywhere from 6’ to 35’

No pattern at all Graphed a ton and nothing seems to be grouped up

One more day to figure something out

Hell I even went and looked for crappie and couldn’t find any

Pressure hurt that lake prob for awhile. I have never seen so many boats on a such a tiny body of water. Death by livescope and internet. I imagine she will still spit out some monsters again this winter just gonna be a lot more people after them now.

Re: O.H. Ivie - 11/29/21 12:22 AM

Lot better day today
But still wasn’t my typical Ivie pattern
20-22 fish had a good one come up to the boat that would have made the weekend

Is what it is temps are 62-58 this weekend so fish are everywhere but where you would expect them to be
