Curado K is good. I have a Steez A with a ZPI spool in it. It’s the best casting reel I have ever had. 18-20 lb shooter Curado K is great too. I keep two c rig rod tied on. Highest gear ratios on both reels.
Take a look at the Lew's super duty reels. They have a couple of different models, a couple with standard line capacity and some wide spool models with more line capacity.
This is the model I have been using for the last couple of year and I have been happy with it. Lew's Super Duty
I have just about every model of Lew's made I think, and I love the Tournament Pro Speed Spool for all heavy bait casting, and especially on a Crig setup.
Can't speak on Lew's but I'm like pg79. I have 2 Curado K's with C-rigs tied on pretty much all the time. Good line capacity and great gear ratio. Even after scarring up line and re-tying 20-30 times you can still sail a C-rig out there and reel in slack line quickly.
Another vote for the Lew's Super Duty Wide, 8:1 or 7.1:1. I use Lew's exclusively and haven't found any Lew's model that is close to as good for C Rigs
Lews super Duty the 200 size has a deeper spool than the other 200 size reels on the market. Fill it up with about 80-90yds of 20Lb line and ur good to go.
Sounds like Lews is the winner. I use a Tatula (because it fits my hand well) and a Curado K on my back up. All work well. That said, I started back in the day with Ambassadeur 5500/6500's and those worked great too. I can't say that the reels have changed the number of hookups, but it is fun to have new toys.

This ^^^ The Lews IM8 medium heavy rods well work well with the above mentioned reels, I also like the lews laser reels
