Hummingbird helix 12 gn3 waypoint rings

We just got out 2020 skeeter FXR21 and it came from the factory with a 12” helix at the bow and console.... we have essentially done nothing in terms of setting up anything but wanted to turn on waypoint rings, so I watched a YouTube video FROM HUMMINGBIRD and went to set it up and there isn’t even a setting showing the option along with some other NAV settings missing.... both of the units are two updates behind but I will not be updating to the most recent one since they are having issues.... is there a setting I need to change to make the rings an option????

are you referring to the casting rings or proximity rings?

Make sure the user mode on the setup tab of the main menu is set to "custom".

This... you have Custom and Angler modes. The units default to Angler Mode, so you have to change the setting to see the rest of the menu options.

Thanks for all the answers, I just had to play with them and set the user to custom.... I got them set to 50ft and now I have a whole nother world to play with!!!
