Highly recommend Safe Floor over Seadek. That Seadek [censored] will be in a million pieces while the Safe Floor will be here after the apocalypse

How much did it cost to do your boat with safe floor? Also does it get to hot to walk on it barefooted?

How hard is it to install seadek? Is it easy to cut and make the edges look clean and professional?

I did my entire boat (hurricane deck boat) in it. I did the templates and install. I can walk you through it.

I went through this company - https://scwake.com/

Basically changed my boat 100%. Highly recommend it.

JB, if you are thinking of doing a bass boat you have to consider the gaps around the carpeted boxes. Sea Dek is not a product that is easily compatible with a bass boat. Almost all bass boats are configured to have lid box edges carpeted. It can be done but won’t look anything like it did before.

Yes I’m considering doing it to my bass boat. I’ve seen some pictures of it done and don’t mind the gaps, but trying to figure out what to do to my deck lids since the carpet holds them closed in ruff water. I definitely don’t want the lids banging up and down. I might have to put latches on them if I go this route.

I have safe floor in my '02 Ranger 205VS. Beats changing carpet every 4 years @1100 a pop. I paid around $1800 to have the safe floor installed plus had to replace some rod locker lids and storage compartment lids that the carpet guys destroyed. It's been in the boat for over 2 years now and still looks new.

Safe Floor is a hard rubber material and is not very cushioned. Hard on the knees for sure. But this stuff is going to last. Even in this Texas heat.

No it does not get hot . Also depends on what color you get.

think of it like a more rigid version of carpet. yes its easy to install. highly recommend.

dont sleep on the cheap stuff. I used hydroturf and saw that even ebay and amazon carry the stuff now. its all the same material....just be sure you order all you need at once so the color all stays the same. They also have pads you can put under the hydroturf or extra comfort. Doing that on the casting deck with seadeck/hydroturf has gotta be amazing...because I personally like the feel of the hydroturf over carpet, so that pad would be the deal I bet!
