I would like to see Todd Auten win. Not the biggest Swindle fan. He is ok and entertaining when it’s going good. Todd is a super nice guy. Just too normal to get much press. You need to have a brand to get the camera time.

I like Swindle but you’re exactly right, there’s not a nicer guy out there than Auten.

That footage yesterday of Swindle throwing the buzzbait all day was great. Some good blowups.

Auten is a true journey man, 25 years in and he averages around $26K a year in earnings. He is one of the guys that is truly fishing to pay the bills and doesn't have that gear to sacrifice the rent check to possibly win. You say, "You need to have a brand to get the camera time.". but if he can make a living earning $26K a year in tournament earnings, he's doing ok in the sponsor game.

Spinning out in his head. Trying too hard to make new things happen. Better hurry to get inside the cut. Needs a kicker. Anyone inside the cut could potentially win in Monday.

Or he has another income source. I rode with him on Fork. Did not talk about making a living. A number of them have a business or their wife covers the week to week steady income and insurance.

Swindle pulled it out in the last 30 minutes with 2 fish that culled. Sitting in 4th 4-6 out of the lead. It’s doable. Probably would need 16# and help.

I think it’s a race between the top 3, probably be Mueller again, he sure has capitalized since the split.

Mueller to me has to be the guy I would bank on. He has been steady and his way of fishing lends to finding more fish tomorrow.
Of course you will have those from 4th and down going for broke. They will either make a run toward the top of sink down. Steady as she goes will not win it for them.

This has been a great event to follow......I think anyone left has a chance to win tommorrow. Hoping to see Swindoe have another good day.

Sure seems like he’s been constantly in the Top 10 this year.

7 Top 10’s in the last 13 tournaments (I’ve included this tournament), dating back to the St Lawrence River last July. That’s stout.
