Y'all ever caught a tailing bass? Was walking the bank at a neighborhood lake this morning and up pops a tail out of the water, in about a foot of water, clear as day. Pitched in there and caught the fish. Sorry no pic but figure y'all know what a 2-pounder looks like. Have caught tailing redfish at the coast but this was a first for me.

Yes, several times when the male and female are on a bed.

They do it quite often at Camelot Bell. Imagine a tail a foot wide sticking up and they want bite. Ha..
