Caught this in about 3 fow while bass fishing. It took me for a ride for a couple minutes. Had to guess its weight at 35-45lbs.

That will take the kinks out of your line! I had that happen to me on Ray Bob. Caught a huge flathead then on the next cast into the same log jam I did catch a 10# largemouth.

I got one about half that size from Crockett last Saturday. Rather disappointing when you realize it's not quite the trophy you're after

Caught one like that (not quite as big, but it was close to 20 lbs) on a spinner bait in the Trinity River from the bank years ago.
