The CXX is tough as nails but does have some memory issues, especially in cold weather. I prefer CX premium in crystal clear over the CXX personally. Have not used the Halo.

CXX is tough. You can't break it. Partly because it stretches so much.

Unless I’m fishing better than 5 foot of visibility, braid to CXX leader.
Best combination of line manageability, ease of casting, sensitivity, abrasion resistance, forgiveness/stretch close to the boat I’ve found.

CXX will spoil you and make you lazy. I went a year without fishing clear water, so had only fished with braid to CXX and developed bad habits like ignoring little line nicks.

Bought some 20lb Maxima on super clearance and broke off the first day using it just above the knot where a little abrasion nick had developed, which I had ignored for 45 min.

I can't speak much about it for bass fishing but when I fish for trout with spinning gear I love the CX Premium 4lb. Strength is good and it's got low memory. Can't speak at all for the CXX.

Cxx is the strongest line Ive ever used but you get memory with it. If you get the 20 pound hung might as well tie it to your boat to break it.

Prefer the CX premium clear fluorescent. It's smaller diameter so you can go up on the lb test. I mostly fish with 20 and 25 pound test.

I think I'm going with McCoy's for my non fluorocarbon and stick with sunline for that

Just got back from Falcon. Used 20 P-Line Flouro in the cypress trees. Yanked a couple of 7's and 8's out of the trees, with no problem and never retied all day.

I like PLine CXX because it is very strong but it does have memory, so I balance my line size for the weight of the bait I am going to throw. 20# only for large swim baits. I mostly use it in 10# to 15# test. PLine CX Premium is not as strong but it has a lot less memory. Between the two is McCoys Mean green. Strong and not a lot of memory. PLine Halo is strong but it has memory also. I use Invizx for my fluorocarbon line because it is a good blend of strength and little memory, at least less than Halo but Halo is stronger. I tried Sunline fluorocarbon once and it broke on me three times the first time I tried it so I stick with Invizx. It is reliable. It has the least amount of stretch of any line that I have tried.
