Boat help - 04/14/21 03:39 AM

I’m gonna get a new to me boat and have it narrowed down to 2. First boat is 21phx it’s a 2019 and has 3 helix 12’s and a 360. Problem is it has 550 hours and no poles but it has warranty til 2027. Guy wants 58k. Other boat is a 2021 Z21, it has a 300 pro xs, 2 solix 12’s and Garmin w/ a live scope. He wants 67k. In the end I am gonna have a 360 and 2 lives scopes on whichever boat I get. What would y’all do in my shoes. Thanks in advance.

Keep looking, I think there are better deals to be had than either of those options.

550 is a lot of hours and resale is going to hurt when warranty is up.

I’ve seen new nitros that were previous year models for way cheaper than the nitro you speak of and by the time you load her up you’d still be better off.

You can do much better than either of those. I would never buy a boat with 550hrs. I would never buy a boat with a 300hp. Both of those factors are not conducive for resale. You should be able to find a used one that will keep its value instead of having factors that greatly depreciate it once you've purchased. Buy right, sell right. They're out there but you gotta look hard.

I would take a look at this one
Quote
2020 Caymas CX21 LIKE BRAND NEW $69,500
before I would those.

Then you can sell the Motorguide and Lowrance graphs to get what I want on it. cheers

I wouldn't worry about the hours on the motor if it still has 6 years of warranty. But, I agree that there are probably better deals to be had than both of these.
