Humminbird availability - 04/04/21 05:08 PM

I’m too new to post in the classifieds, but I wanted to see if anyone knows a store that carries a Helix 9 chirp mega di+ gps g3n cho. I just got an Ultrex w/link from Classic Fiberglass and want a humminbird to link it too. (I’ve already checked the major stores, academy, cabelas etc).

Pay the 60 buck difference and don’t order the CHO. You can sell the transducer for 150 to 200 bucks.
I ordered a CHO model at the same time as a buddy who ordered the same model with the transducer. His came in a week mine is still on backorder.

9094, I think you’re right. I’ve seen a couple places with the transducer included, so I may have to just do that

I am reordering mine that way this week. The place I ordered from said the CHO models stay sold out because most boats have some type of US2 built into the trolling motors and OEM customers order the CHOs to keep transducer from stacking up.

I am sure the global Semiconductor shortage has something to do with lack of units available . In my 35 years this is the worst I have ever seen it . Some Semiconductor suppliers are advising 50-70 weeks lead time to get deliveries . This has affected every company that buys chips and the additional problem ---- , every semiconductor supplier is raising prices ---10-20% .
This will probably last until Q2 2022 .
