I can easily maneuver in less than a foot of water with trolling motor. I fish out of a Winner 18’6” w/ a 150 VMax (1/2 tank & 1/2 live well). Also never get hung in stumps.

What is your rig and how shallow can it go?

I've been looking at Simmons Custom Boats from Kemah. Not sure about the draft depth but this is pretty impressive for a 23' boat. It is a catamaran bay boat but could easily double as a bass fishing rig. The front deck is as wide as the back deck. You could easily fish four guys off this boat.

my boat is a Scout 192 Sportfish.. the claimed draft is 10". I don't like to get it up real shallow.. especially in stumpy water as I've lost a couple of transducers that way.. but it will fish pretty skinny.

198 Champion, I would guess about 14”. Might be 16”, I know my amigos Skeeter will draft shallower than I can.
