Getting to Tawakoni State Park

I'm coming from the west (Rockwall). Anybody know a route that doesn't take me down some crappy backroad with 2' deep potholes? Google keeps sending me down stuff where I literally have to drive 5 mph to keep from bottoming out my suspension or blowing my trailer up.

I wish I could help. I find the same obstacles when I’m pulling. Lol

A map doesn't tell him which roads have big holes in them, but someone familiar with the area very well may be able to.

In other words, 47 and 2475 are well improved roads.

Can you even buy a map nowadays? I have the ability to inter into my GPS navigation system that I’m pulling a trailer, but it doesn’t care about road conditions.

Hunt Co and Hopkins Co are notorious for bad county roads....snow storm damaged them further

As for looking at a map..... I'm sure the map will pull up on your electronics ....look at routes that avoid county roads. There, less grumpy response!
