Best Wacky Hooks

Looking for good wacky hook to throw senkos. I would like a weed guard bc I throw in a lot of heavy wood cover .

I like the VMC Wacky jig hooks. I’ve been using them for several years. I usually buy them at Academy but have not seen them the last 3 or 4 times I’ve been there.

I bought some made by Falcon Super sharp with weed guard and a little bit of weight made onto the shank. Little expensive but well worth it

My hookup ratio has improved drastically after switching to the VMC weedless neko hook. Available at Academy. About Half the time I actually run them neko rigged.


The VMC weighted weedless wacky hook cost me a fish that would have landed me a small check in a tournament so I haven’t used them since.

Been a fan of the Owner Jungle or sniper
I like the Trokar but I feel they are too small and end up hurting more fish than not
