Re: Oldfield smashed a giant on Fork - 03/16/21 11:04 PM

I looked up to estimate weight of fish length x girth x girth divide by 800= estimated weight so 25.25x25x25/800=19.72 I’m i doing this right? If so I would’ve like for him to got it weighed officially. Wow congrats to Mr. Oilfield I’m sharing with you

Heckuva fish. If he would have turned in all the fish that he has caught that would qualify for the Legacy class of Sharelunker, I think he would have somewhere around 12-13.

Super congrats!
Fish of a lifetime, even for a trophy hunter like him.
All I can say is what comes around goes around. I don’t know him at all but he did something very meaningful and kind some years ago that I remember to this day. Well deserved.

He broke the lake record on Cypress twice in 1996 with 2 fish over 13. The second time when he broke his on record it was a 13.69

Congrats on a nice fish except for the tail.

I’ll have a good idea of what lake it was on Saturday, I see him at a lake close to Fork quite often. Last Saturday there were about 6 boats on the lake. If there are more this week end I will know why.

Forgotten lake over the past decade.

Re: Oldfield smashed a giant on Fork - 03/19/21 01:48 AM

Huge Fish but again NOT from FORK. IMO

Randy catches big ones anywhere he goes and has a knack at finding them on any lake.

Lets not ASSUME just because he is a Fork Guide it came from Fork.

He usually mentions Fork when he is on it.

Congrats to Randy we all know it is HUGE.

Most of us Fork Guides fish other lakes also.
