Roberts starting to wake up

Took my grandson fishing Sunday- waited for the storms to pass and go in a good day of fishing. Got this girl hanging on the edge of a major creek channel with a medium diving crankbait. Had told him that "when the redbud's are blooming, you better be fishing !". Also told him that "one of us is gonna catch a big fish today"- glad that paid off ! He tried to crank her in but handed it off because, "she pulls too hard !". Gotta love it !

Heard they were on beds already out there too...

We didn't see a single fish up . Marked fish on the edges of creeks , bends and a few points. Warmest water was 61.8 , but most was high 50's

A lot of bs floating around with about 90k in tournaments coming up in the next month. Don’t believe what you hear about this lake right now lol

Not to mention the Classic shortly there after...

Hope it does wake up. Been the toughest winter for me in several years out there.

Always on beds this time of year on RR. Just gotta know what creek(s) warm up first. Full moon coming up, better get ready.
