Tragic, but not unusual during times like these. The supporting poles usually give way and buckle un the weight, Snow can weigh a lot, estimates are between 7 and 20 pounds per cubic foot.

Have seen it happen here on older docks with concrete walkways and wore out flotation.

infrastructure over the years has rusted away and could not hold the weight. The same is happening on older bridges around the country. OMG

Huxley's stalls have floated back up. Not sure about the boats that’s were under though
