Can you win if you don't run North? Don't know the lake well enough to try it.

Not normally really. Maybe this year if you have one here soon. Everything up North is 45 degrees and muddy it is the dead sea up there. There have a few pro's running around and most of them are NOT up North.
Most have been around mid lake

Yep! Lots of good stringers come from south end this time of year!
Yes, there are plenty of tournaments won mid lake and south, and there are plenty of people who fish up north and dont win.

If you don’t know how to navigate it, Tom Mayne, a guide on Palestine, sells a boat lane chip for your electronics to navigate the lake safely. Trust me, it’s worth $40 dollars.

I think that if they are telling you that you can win South they want the North to themselves.

Or, we could just be telling the truth.

Palestine is one of the lakes that you can win from anywhere on the lake . Going to be interesting when the mo little fish bunch gets there .
Depends on the conditions....North can be brutal or it can be all the good you have heard! Typical shallow water fishing..

You probably won’t see many MLF guys up north. They are fishing for numbers of small or medium fish. Lots of them will be south using a spinning reel and tiny worm.
