Squaw Creek update

Squaw Creek update - 01/08/21 03:31 AM

Luminant has delayed the reopening of Squaw Creek until October 8th 2021 at a minimum with a validation of this date in September 2021 based on current COVID-19 protocols/projections. Please check this page for future updates.

Let's not downplay. It is a big deal... because our TPWD dollars went into building the fishery! I would guess there is at least someone (employees or executives) fishing the lake while it is closed.

Notice I said people "need" to do things even though they make no sense and do no good. Of course closing boat ramps is silly. What are people going to do, damage the concrete ramp and the water? If the concern is that no one will be there to collect the money, how much are they collecting with the lake closed?
