I installed this when I got my boat it is a DUAL pole shut off, so it cuts ALL power to my boat when off. Disconnects the tm batteries AND the start battery. As a side bonus it has a place for a padlock.

I thought that was just common sense but from the comments on YouTube I can see it is not. OMG

Worst case scenario for me is when I get to the lake and start my boat my Humminbird won't come on because my switch is Off.

That reminds me to turn both of them on before leaving the dock. cheers

Good video and great folks at John's even since John sold out due to health reasons.

One more thing I'd like to add as there is a misconception for some... The on/off switch located on the foot pedal of an Ultrex . Does NOT turn the power off to the mother board talked about in Ken's video. It only kills power from foot pedal to motor.
