Fishing Docks in the Fall - 11/28/20 05:53 PM

Hey TFF,

Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving week I fished a local lake and was able to connect with a pattern of skipping jigs on docks. Hope you like it and thanks for watching! JN

Great video James! I was fortunate to live on Lake Norman and Andy helped me a ton with skipping jigs on docks. Agree completely with the shorter rod and same action. I use a 6’8” MH but I’m not not very tall so the shorter rod helps.

cool....Andy Montgomery is the best or at least on the very short list of great caster/skippers in my opinion!

Nice work James. GREAT tip about not keeping too much line on your skipping reel! If I could offer one little bit of positive criticism. When showing a "how to" video like this one, because of the camera angle (I assume this is a chest mount go pro) we can't actually see your bait skipping. Your left arm is blocking out the actual cast. Not sure how to adjust it, but if we could see the actual cast it would be nice! Always enjoy your videos!

Not the best camera angle for this. Perhaps I will do another one in the future and get another vantage point. Thanks!
