oh man, very sad news. Bob is a legend and a great friend who I am sure will be missed by many. Ive got so many good memories from the good ol days on Welsh and the TFF matchplay years. This is a tough loss. RIP Porko, gonna miss you except the drive home with you from east Texas while eating chicken livers. one more Golden stick on the pond. Tight lines old friend.

So sorry to hear about Bob "Porko" Smith passing....he was a true gentlemen and could make friends with anyone. One of the nicest guys....RIP, Bob.

I talked to him a decent amount. He took me fishing on Squaw Creek in my early teens. He’ll be missed. Great man

I hate to hear that. My new company has a terminal in Cartersville GA. I decided to check out the Georgia Fishing Forum last time I was there. It looked like Bob was the only real consistent contributor over there. Ironically he lived in Cartersville. He will be sorely missed

Man. I hate this. Bob was such a good person. All the way back thru the Grandebass days. I always enjoyed talking to him. Prayers out to his family and friends. He will be missed for sure.
