I went Friday after the first batch of rain and it was almost 4 foot low. I don’t know if it came up after this last rain. The water data sites are usually pretty accurate though.

Once you figure it out, it’s a lot of fun. You can have some REALLY good days with numbers and size.

It is supposed to be 3.92 low today. From what I understand, normal rainfall doesn't really do much for a lake's water level. Unless it's a tropical storm.

That makes no sense

Read somewhere that Hachie Lake didn't have big bass, due to the alkalinity level of the water? It was awhile ago, but something like that. Can anybody prove this myth to be wrong?

I have seen pictures of multiple 9+ pound fish caught out of there over the past few years

I got a 6 pounder out of there just last month. FIshing isn't that great but it's close for me.

False: “Waxahachie has no big fish”. True: “I can’t ever find them”! 😜

This one didn’t mind the alkalinity.
