It is what it is. Maybe just a couple weeks left then we should have good fishable weather. In Jan. and Feb all you need to do is think about the heat from the past month and that should warm you up. There is a reason for everything.

Worst thing about the heat is trying to remember to stay hydrated.

I never complain about the heat, because I do not like being cold. However, I have caught lots of fish when I was very cold and very hot.

I am never really affected by the heat until I start loading the boat on the trailer and putting stuff away.

Ditto....not too sure why. Buy I douse myself with water when on the lake and use my warm water bottles off the ramp.

Now that I am in my mid 70's the heat does get to me faster than before but I really don't like being cold.

can't wait to get that water temp gets back down into the upper 70's low 80's and them girls start that winter prep
