Nice one from Ray Roberts this past Saturday - 08/03/20 04:09 PM
Decided not to go back to Sand Branch this time just didn’t feel confident in the area. So I tried the west side of the lake and also decided to try fishing a long extended point out in the main lake since I figured all the bass had to be out deep. I only caught this one out there but it made the whole day worth it! Didn’t have a scale with me or I’d tell you the weight but I guess would be between 7-8 maybe closer to 8 but I who really knows best fish I caught all year in my kayak.

Nice fish! I should of done the same thing, but old habits are hard to quit... went up to the East side and caught small schoolers....even after I marked a few deep spots on the West side the night before...I hate being stubborn...
