I know it’s probably better to just stay home but what is your “go to” for extremely muddy water this time of year?

Black/blue chatterbait.
Big Colorado gold bladed spinnerbait in either white/chartreuse or black/blue
Red squarebill that rattles. Or a firetiger colored squarebill.
Dark colored big worms or full size creature baits and apply scent and use rattles.
Make lots of casts to specific targets from several angles. Add a trailer hook to the spinnerbait as you don't want to miss fven a light bite.
black and blue
black and red
green pumkin with dyed tails

Grew up on the biggest mud hole in Texas, Lake Livingston. A big copper Colorado blade spinnerbait with a dark purple or black/chart skirt, also a good time to throw a spinnerbait with colored metal flake blades in chart/white . A big wide wobbling chart crank bait or a ribbed worm with a curled tail in black or black/chart will get you bit as well.
