Fork sandbass? - 05/28/20 02:20 PM

Taking my daughter and her boyfriend to fork tomorrow to try a catch some bass. Sometimes she gets bored bass fishing if they are few and far between. Thought we might try to catch some sandbass while we are there. Any tips on there location would be appreciated. I haven't caught a sandbass in about a year but I don't really target them. Thanks

I've seen them school pretty well at dusk on the ledge out in front of No Name where it's about 6 FOW. Haven't been out there in awhile so no idea if that is going on now. Nice size though up to 2lbs.

Last summer you could just hit all the main lake points. Move fast if you're not catching them. You should get on some.

Horseshoe usually holds them this time of year during the daytime.
