Fishing other states in TX boat - 05/28/20 01:14 AM
What do you have to do to be able to use a boat that is registered in Texas to fish in Arkansas? I’m wanting to take a family trip up there pretty quickly. Do you have to have any special permits or requirements? Has anyone fished with their boat in Arkansas before? Thanks in advance!

Yes as long as your Texas registration is good it won’t be a problem.

Just like a car, your registration is good wherever you go unless there are special regulations on a particular lake.

I have fished my own boat in OK, AR, MS, MO, AL, and TX. Nothing is different, but you need a license for each state. Obviously.

I have had the boat in the water in OK, AR, LA, AL, FL, KY, TN, MD, and of course TX. Never had a problem with any federal game warden or state game warden. Just be sure and have a license as well as proper registration card lol.
