I might have missed it but I would imagine the weigh-in will be at the new Dickies Arena.

Wow! That is a shocker. And talk about adding more people to a lake that's been pretty crowded in the last couple of years.

Re: 2021 Classic Location - 05/27/20 06:04 PM

Wow, didn't think we would get anymore big tournaments with our dismal attendance.

Re: 2021 Classic Location - 05/27/20 06:05 PM

That is a surprise. shocked There could be some huge bags at that time. Just hope we don't get flooded out.

Re: 2021 Classic Location - 05/27/20 06:05 PM

Tough lake to fish in March, especially if a late Spring cold front blows through. Don't get me wrong, have caught some big fish in March on Roberts but very few and very far between.

They will catch em but it will fish small unless it floods again. Going to be fun to watch em!

Wow, I’ve never caught anything there. Then again I’ve never fished there. Glad they’re coming back to Texas though.

I think it could be cold , and some of them will figure them out they always do, hopefully there will be some big crowds at Dickies Arena.

Will take close to a 25 lb per day average to win it in March.... doesn’t matter if it’s cold.

Re: 2021 Classic Location - 05/27/20 06:46 PM

Just wondering how much I can make air BNBing my house...I am excited to watch them!

If I could just fish Robert's and not have to fish any others I could go pro, oh well . Intrested to see how much " help " the pros get.

Every year someone complains about the fish ride. They've done it from Guntersville to Birmingham, from Conroe to Houston and from Grand to Tulsa. They know how to handle the fish and get them back.

It's the Classic, just be glad it's coming here.

No way. We just dont have the population of big fish to sustain that over that many days. 20 a day will have you where you want to be IMO. THey will catch them 5 times better if its freezing cold and low water temps. Those fish out there are EASY to catch in the cold water. I bet they tear the hell out of some boats LOL

Same people that bitch and moan when someone keeps a bass for the table and then gripes cuz their local pond is full of stunted fish due to overpopulation.

Water temps will be cool enough as well. Fish will be just fine for the ride.

All the naysayers already saying “they won’t catch them in March” or “Roberts doesn’t have the fish population”...... THEY will catch fish and heavy stringers because THEY are that much better than the rest of us fisherman.

THEY didn't when they fished it last time. Nor did THEY when MLF fished it. It is a tough lake some times...

I am still very much looking forward to having the classic quite literally in my back yard!

Re: 2021 Classic Location - 05/28/20 02:04 PM

All I want to do is work with a vendor to allow me to work their booth at the venue...Honestly, this is probably way more of an experience than many realize. You get to meet and converse with many and not be in your own zone.

If any of you that are thinking about being at the Classic would like some help during...please keep me in mind.

cheers

They said you cant catch them at Fork when the gates are open too. THen the Pros show up and put the smackdown on them last year at Bassfest when the gates were open. These guys catch them when we are clueless. While we talk on forums they are on the water.

This they got their [censored] kicked last time they were there. Guys are good but they don't play God. They can only catch what the lake has to offer.

I hope that fisherman will stay off the lake and let the pros have at it.
