My fishing partner was trying to pull his Trig worm off a hang up 30 years ago.
When it came loose it hit him on the forehead. The weight had turned around 180 degrees and you could see the round red spot it made as well as the little hole in the middle.
Be prepared to turn your head.

Happens to the best of us. I was fishing in the wind a couple weeks ago and wound up to launch my crank bait. On the cast I snagged the crank bait on my bike seat. Lucky I didn't hook myself in the pants!
