Big storm blew through there a few days ago and tore off quite a few roofs. Lots of other damage. Lake got a good bit of rain and is up about 3 feet too. That's the good news! Good luck.

Just last night another storm blew thru Zapata, tearing up the town. Winds strong enough to push my FX21 out from under the carport. The only thing that stopped the boat was the jack wheel sunk into the mud when it left the slab. Lesson learned, always chock the wheels.

I’d check BASSMANS Lodging. Great place with plenty of parking.

Alton Jones has a VRBO place that we stayed in a couple of weeks ago and it was the best place I’ve stayed in yet down there.

Fishing was pretty good last week when the wind wasn’t howling. James has a new post up on falconlakeflt

I had some minor damage to my properties but they are repaired now so we are good to go!
