Anyone fished Belton lately??? - 05/20/20 02:44 PM
Went out both Saturday and Sunday. Just could not locate the fish. Main lake structure and road beds, points and brush piles in coves and creek channels, standing timber deep and shallow......nothing. I know we got a lot of rain Friday night but dang, they were completely shut off....

Fished yesterday. Caught fish first hour and half on main lake point then completely shut off.

Yes, I sucked. Looks like belton has cycled back to how it was in the 90's, we used to call it nothing but little fish lake
I was out there on Sunday. Both Sat and Sun were cold front and post cold front days; so I didn't expect it to be too good. I was fishing for hybrids and whites; but conditions and bite were probably similar to LMB.
