Bass Champs/TTO - 05/15/20 12:51 PM
Poor move on Bass Champs changing date for Cedar Creek to the 30th when TTO already had Lewisville scheduled for the same date. BC should have picked a different date.
Only so many weekends and with the condensed schedule I'm just glad there are events to fish.

comes down to getting permits. pick a trail and fish. i couldn't fish basschamps this year because of the schedule so i picked something else. no point and complaining about our saying how bad they are. they can only do so much.
Tough for trails to cord around each other with all the postponed events this year.

You are correct in so many weekends, but TTO has an announced championship mid June. Champs in the fall. Champs has many more choices other than schedule on top of another 200 plus boat tournament already scheduled. Just my view not being a homer for either organization.

I would give a mulligan to every Tournament trail this year. We are going thru a once in a lifetime challenge. Bass Champs has been doing tournaments right for many years. TTT has very experienced leadership just like Media. As under most circumstances in fishing there are always complaints. There are 52 weekends a year minus a few for holidays. So realistically they have about 48 weekends a year to put on Tournaments. That is about 96 days to please hundreds of fisherman. I give all my respect to Bass Champs, TTT and Media for the logistics nightmare they live. I dont fish much anymore. Wish I did because I miss it. But if I did I can say I would never complain about what these trails " HAVE" to try and do to satisfy fisherman. It's been said to many times. If you dont like it you have 2 choices. Dont fish there trails or start your own tournament trail. Texas is really blessed to have what I consider to be the best selection of Tournaments Trails to fish in the US. And that is because of the owners working there butt's off to get the sponsorship to give the fisherman the best of the best of in state tournaments.
