Local Lure Company? - 05/09/20 06:18 AM

Anyone have any recommendations on Texas based lured companies, specifically for soft plastics? I'm in need of some new baits and would like to support some local companies. Thanks!

Santone has some great jigs and spinnerbaits.

Smashtech has some killer swimbaits and a few other soft plastics.

Grandebass has a huge assortments of plastics and they are really good. Just don't buy from their website, there is a thread on here every other month with how bad their website and customer service is. You can find them on tacklewarehouse and have no problem though.

a little something special about this man! he shut down his bait making operation, switched it over to making protective face shields for the healthcare people the last couple months. I tell you what, this guy has earned my utmost respect! at a time when in need, he pulled a rabbit out of the hat and helped us all stay safer!!! please check this man's work out, you will be pleased! he makes superb products, and paints some of the best baits you can buy!

I have a neighbor that I just recently found out makes some lures. I just bought quite a few senkos from him and really like them. He has a coupe of interesting colors. He gave me some spinner baits, chatter baits but I haven’t tried them. I’m not sure if he has a website, I don’t that think he does but will try and find out.

Ken at KCInjectionbaits.com has some pretty cool soft plastics that you design. You pick the bait, color(s), glitter size & color, scent or no scent, salt or no salt. Great service and always a very quick turnaround for me. [Linked Image]

Trophy Technology is locally owned company. A buddy of mine that lives in Frisco owns them. Their warehouse is in Trenton, TX. They have several brands like Castaic, Reaction Strike and also make Boyd Duckett baits.
