Random poll: which foot do you drive with?

I’m talking trolling motor.

I’m right handed but much prefer to drive using the left foot for whatever reason.

I use the ultrex fob and rarely use the foot control. Sure has eliminated soreness in the hip after fishing all day.

I’m so right handed I can’t even scratch my rear with my left hand.....but both my feet seem to work about the same.

I am left handed and use my right foot on the trolling motor 90% of the time.

Both... mainly depends on boat position to cover/shoreline. Offshore right foot mainly.

Never really thought about it. I guess if I’m fishing the bank from the starboard side, it is left foot, port is my right foot.

I try to fish the starboard side, since most of my reels are left handed and my buddies are right handed. It keeps us from sword fighting as often.

90% right 8% left 2% when retrieving lures that might have been snagged in low tree lines my hands.

Most of the time with my right. No cartilage in my right ankle and all the surgeries on my ankle and knee makes weight bearing on it extremely painful.

I have always wondered why Minn Kota has the button on the left side ? Why not in the middle where it would be easier to use both feet ? I switch back and forth to keep legs from tiring.

Probably use the left foot slightly more. I use right handed roll casts a lot and body alignment is better for me with the left foot forward.

I haven't got to where I use the remote as much as I used to years ago on my Motorguide but I will get there at some point.
