If I want to chase bed fishing

How far do I need to go? Big Dallas lakes? Oklahoma? Athens is about is about done, not to mention stupid traffic. I could use a change

I’ve never fished any other lakes in Texas besides, Athens, fork and cedar creek. Got any suggestions?

I don’t target them on the beds. I target the pre spawn/ post spawn fish. Some say the are all spawning but I don’t beat a fish in the head to bite. I might catch a fish that is on a bed every once in a while. But I don’t target them. That spinner bait bait for pre spawn and post spawn is too fun!

If you go to Arbuckle, take a number! The lake is small and people everywhere trying to see them.

Lakes are packed everywhere and all the stupid fish done been stuck multiple times.

Guarantee Athens just got another “wave” of spawners. But I’m not going to find out either. It would be stupid crowded right now without the “pandemic”.

Houston County they are spawning big time right now!
