fish gonna try for big uns Kinda get back to bassn>question.Putting 50lb braid on baitcaster.Is it better common to put mono leader on? Sorry if a dumb question. Been using braid for crappie fishing.No leader. They don't care. Thanks for info.tired of sitting around ,working maybe 25hr week. YAWN !!

In very clear water it might make a difference. I've got buddies that fish straight braid and they do just fine. Just adjust your drag and maybe a use more moderate action rod. Myself, I am braid to leader on everything from my Ned Rig combo to my swimbait combo.
