As you can see everyone fishes their confidence baits depending on the conditions and times of the year. This is your starting point that all fisherman accomplish that have spent any time on the water to figure out their lake of choice. Once I reached this level of fishing; we then put together a system for two fisherman in the boat to double up on finding fish on a regular basis and getting them to bite. Here is my article on developing this System.

Find a school and drop shot them all day. Cover water with a drop shot. Bed fish with a drop shot. But, yesterday, it was a frog bite. All day.
It depends on the lake conditions.
Some days I can catch fish all day on a shaky head zoom worm. Sometimes it’s a c rig.
I have caught the most fish, by a long shot, using a flick/shake setup with a Yamamoto Senko. But it doesn’t always work. Second is probably a Biffle Bug on a peg weighted 3/0 flipping hook. Those two setups are always on deck. I will adjust the other rods on the lake.

Flipping Texas rigged 5 inch Senko or Yumdinger with 1/8 oz bullet weight to gentle sloping bank near deeper water. I use pumpkin seed color, but doubt that it matters.

Man, I love fishing a spinnerbait. Its a year round bait, catches big fish and I think I am pretty good at fishing one.
HOWEVER, if I had to catch fish, I would go with a light t-rigged Yum Craw Papi. That bait just flat catches bass.

I have done well on a CB, for YEARS. Got me my 1, 3 and 5 biggest bass. Other presentations that have been successful for me include SB, all the soft plastic rigs (especially weightless soft plastics), topwater *especially the 3/8 oz Yellow Magic Plus 1), weightless r lightly weighted rigs, all hard bait and soft bait presentations. In OGHER WORDS< ALL FISHING PRESENTATIOON and STYLES and WEIGHTS and each variation out there. BECAUSE I HAVE CONFIDENCE in myself to figure out what the fish want to bight. It took a LONG TIME to get the confidence, but once you get it, you catch a LT more fish. II have even fished a horny toad on a T and C rig and caught fish. DO NOT OVER THINK IT GUES, just present something they have never seen and get bit. THIHK OUTSIDE THE BOX A FEW TIMES A TRIP AND GET BETTER LEARNG WHT THE FISH TELL YOU AND LISTENN TO THEM.
Sorry about the shouting. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Sorry, didn't see it. Better now. I have had Type 1 Diabetes Melitus for over 48 years, and the doctors often come to me to ask questions, because I am considered an expert on some thing with diabetes. Got it in March 1972. Never have followed the way they used to make us eat, because my grandmother was head diatition at Baylor Medical Hospital, so we just figured out what to eat from our normal list. No bragging, just stating facts/ Sorry I did not seethe smiley face. I apologize.
Respectfully,
Thad Rains
