NED DROP SHOT

Has anyone ever used a Ned type (half Senko), soft plastic on a drop shot setup? Looks like it would work to me.

I use the ned rig senkos on a drop shot but sometimes they really wont eat it and I can go back with a finesse worm and they will eat that...
