Ramps Open List - 03/23/20 05:07 PM

With all the virus/flooding going on I thought it might be a good idea if we listed the Lake and ramp that we know are open right now. Pretty much all ramps are open on Fork.

Please list the Lake and which ramp you KNOW is open.

3/23/2020, 2:00 PM Phone Call to Gate: The Oak Thicket Park on Fayette County Lake boat ramp and RV Park is open at this time. Gate person said they do not know for how long the park will stay open. Best to call first before coming to lake/park.

Sir- do you know if Johnson, Alley or Hurricane creek ramps are open? I wouldn't think so because of them being State ran but I usually use those. Or any of the ones down by the dam?

One of my guys camped there this weekend. He said they closed the park, including ramps, while they were there. There seems to be some confusion in they are going to be open/not open within the dept...

If you're certain you've not been in contact with anyone who may have been in contact w/a carrier of COVID-19, stay yer AZZ at home!

OR GTF OUT AND GO TO FALCON LAKE, TEXAS.

Might know someone to help.

I read that FCL is open on Texas Lake Finder and I was surprised. I heard LCRA was closing all of their lakes. Bastrop is closed. I hope it stays open, for sure.

I did not know it was even there but Texas Lake Finder has links to who controls certain ramps and their status.

McCown ramp on Whitney is open. Used the ramp yesterday. The danger of it closing due to flooding should have passed. Was there from 11 to 5 yesterday and the lake fell about 6 inches or so.
