10 Lb on a Wake bait

Caught this fish a little over a week ago on a bait my buddy makes...

BIGFEAST BAITS: the bait is called the "Bomber"

She weighted 10.2 lbs

BREAKDOWN: Mar 8th (Lake Titicaca)

Super windy day...Water 51-54.5 Degrees...Actually Cooler in the creeks due to the recent rains

Fish are in PRE-SPAWN mode like a Mofo...BIG Gurls stacking on the points leading to the healthy coves...

With the water being Muddy low visibility- I thought I needed something that would really make some noise...

I was on my 6th hour straight without a bite or sniff...so I thought why not give the "Bomber" a shot?

I had it tied on so all day so I thought to myself...it made a lot of noise when I was checking out the action...just CHUNK IT!

With in 20 min I had a 3.5lb spot in the boat...and she ate while I was just barely cranking it under the surface.

I continued to work the bait in similar fashion...I landed a 4 Lber shortly after and then Big Momma ate on the next cast within 10 feet of the 4#.

Crazy thing is this is my 2nd DD on this body of water...I was blown away when I realized it was EXACTLY 1 Year to the day that I caught a 11.6 (Same lake different fish for sure)

And wearing the same shirt...Tight Lines!

I was going to Lake Titicaca but didn’t have enough time to drive there!

A bit unusual to catch a bass THAT big in a high elevation lake (12,507 ft) let alone any bass???

Do they have fully rigged bass boats in Peru?
