Lake gilmer

Hadn’t heard any updates about the lake. I’m sure with all the rain the ramps are open. Has anyone been over there here lately ?

Heard its been pretty brutal fishing over there.

It has been for a while, I think all the grass was sprayed.

The lake is fishing tough, but not because they sprayed any grass. They did work on the spillway and dropped the lake about 7 or so feet so grass is hard to come by. Lake is full now and has been since we got that big rain back in late jan or Feb whenever it was. They only had lake closed for a month or 2 then opened the gates at the ramp back up. May just have to look around a lot more to find something.

The lake has been very crowded all week with 20 to 30 trailers in the lot most days. There were at least 50 parked there when I went over the bridge yesterday.

Oh I bet !!! With everyone dodging fork,,,, I bet it was way crowded. I fished naconiche Friday , you would of thought it was Sunday of a Major tourney. Most boats I’ve ever seen on that lake
