Fork boat lanes?

Fork boat lanes? - 02/14/20 03:58 PM

I’ve seen “guide boat lane” chips or waypoints for sale on social media site but I’ve never heard of the seller. Are there lanes available for purchase that can get you around the lake, cuts and pockets faster?

It is a guide on fork who has worked with others to put out the "Guide lanes" chip. They are reputable from all my understandings.

Lake Fork Marina and Pope's Landing both sell chip.

You can download boat lanes from Lance Vick's website, then load them to your unit before going to Fork.

I spend a lot of time on Fork and feel like I can run it well but I always use Lance's chip to get around...the guide cuts he has on them have saved me a lot of time as well.

I have found the lake is very deceiving because of the water fluctuations. You can cut a corner a lot sooner than you might be thinking. My point is, get the chip. It’s a live saver.

To give you an idea of what you're dealing with, just imagine the water level being up 2 ft from this video and all those stumps being just under water surface. That guy obviously REALLY knows that water.

Is that trail on Vick's chip? I don't think I have ever noticed it.

Is Vick's chip the same one from 2012ish? I got one for birds back then but switched to lowrance. I just got a bird again and wonder if the same chip is accurate.

He has updated it since. I got the new version late last summer/early fall.
