After watching the radar the last few days some places in Texas have sure gotten soaked... bet several lakes are close to maxed out. Here in Bossier(or at least at the house) we dodged a lot of it as only I showed around 2" of rain total since Sunday. Waiting on all that rain NE Texas and Oklahoma got to funnel down the Red now.

The lake crested at a little less than 3' high several hours ago and is now slowly falling. Hopefully the rain forecast for the first part of next week stays with rain but only light rains so we don't get a repeat of this week. The lake is well into our yard now. They should re-open the lake once it drops below 2.5' high. On the positive, this should have dumped a good amount of water in Welsh that desperately needed it.

Monti came up 1.4' with wide open gates both at Monti and Sandlin so water was leaving the whole time it was coming in. Monti and Welsh have similar watersheds so I would guess Welsh had to have picked up about 2' of water. It sucks there's no web based lake level monitor for Welsh. Only way to know if to drive over and/or know someone at the plant.
