Rayburn lodging opportunities

Rayburn lodging opportunities - 01/30/20 04:54 PM

Hey guys, just got a call that Rayburn Country is closing down. I had a reservation for the HS tourney at the end of February and now need another lodging option. Please post up some that are decent and not shady.

Thanks much.

I always use Mariela when I go... she always treats us right and has a boat garage with electricity. It is actually where John Cox stayed last weekend too, I noticed that in his video

Wow that's crazy... Did you hear if they are just shutting down the hotel part of the resort, or the whole deal? I was going to try and get a round of golf in over there this spring.

Hotel and golf course shut down I think tomorrow or in the next few days. They’re calling all reservations and cancelling.

The lake lodging and marina business must be really tough to make a living at. Seems like they are closing on every lake in Texas.

Good luck with that... I would choose Lakeview over Jackson Hill 10 times out of 10

Did Lakeview ever get the rooms across the street from the store open?

I stayed at a place years ago, I think it was called The Backlash Inn. Had a nice house and an above garage room that would sleep 2 more.

Look around and f8nd the guy that runs outlaw outdoors down there. He has some top notch hook ups on lodging.
I'd sleep in my truck before I went to Jackson hill.

What's everyones problem with Jackson Hill? I've stayed there no issues.

But like someone said, I don't mind pitching a tent at Twin Dikes! $18 a night or whatever, hell yes
