New Metanium Sneak Peak

New look at the upcoming Metanium MGL 150 B.
As someone who has handled pretty much every Shimano freshwatwer product, I can confidently say this is my favorite baitcaster they've made. It feels like a Bantam in the hand, but the magnesium frame makes it significantly lighter. Can't wait to break one in on the water!

Latest ETA I've heard is mid-February. With gear like this, that's always subject to change. It will be the same price as the old MGL. $419.99

My two favorites for fishing are the Core and Curado K.

I'll give this new reel a look but i doubt it can break into my rotation, especially at that price.

Add that to the new Dobyns high end rod that will soon be out on the market and you will have a very sweet set up.

Are you talking about the Xtasy? Or the new Fred Roumbanis Series?

The Xtasy and one of the reels would be the cat's meow!

It is above the Xtasy but im not sure if it is a Fred Roumbanis Series. It is supposed to retail for about $630 so Ive heard.
