That's the truth. What a guy.

He and Ray Scott are responsible for all the great interest and innovations in bass fishing as we know it today. You can't think bass boats without thinking Forrest Wood and hard to think bass tournaments without thinking Ray Scott. We owe them a lot. Prayers for Forrest and the Wood family.

Forrest Wood and Ray Scott were front runners, but Ray had a lot of help in the building of B.A.S.S.. Don Butler, Bob Cobb, Bill Dance, Roland Martin, Tom Mann, Harold Sharp and Helen Sevier were Ray's first right hand people with B.A.S.S. Scott was the first to require life-jackets be worn while the outboard was running in tournaments.
