Top 3 Baits and Lakes

Top 3 Baits and Lakes - 01/16/20 01:15 AM

The bass boat question always leads to a wound up discussion, but I've been wondering several things lately and I don't believe the first part has really been covered. I've seen questions on favorite baits but not really baits and colors. So, if you were only allowed 3 baits and colors for the rest of time, what three would you choose? Mine would be a watermelon red baby brush hog, a sexy shad squarebill, and green pumpkin blue baby brush hog, both brush hogs' tails dipped in chartreuse.

If you had to pick 3 lakes to fish the rest of your life, in Texas, considering distance/practicality, what 3 would you choose? I'd pick Rayburn, Squaw, and Athens.

I like your lake choices too. I’d use a green pumpkin Senko at all three lakes. Punch rig with a Magnum Rage Grub at Rayburn and Athens. A Watermelon Redflake Zoom trick worm on a shaky head at all three.

I’d have to substitute a green pumpkin/pearl belly KVD frog at some point in Athens and Rayburn for the pads.
