Baby fish ID

Baby fish ID - 12/31/19 02:10 AM

Caught this on a trap (in the mouth!) on Tyler today. Has long fins like a bowfin but the mouth shape doesn’t look right. Mouth and fins don’t look right to be a glass minnow. Thoughts?[Linked Image]

Interesting. Hard to find any info on them in Texas lakes but that’s definitely what it is. Thanks.

On toledo I had a bunch of these spit up in the livewell from bass. Called an "inland silverside".

From Sam Rayburn May 2018 looks like a ghost minnow. Hit an area with schools of this and bass chomping
