Those hybrids are a blast to catch. We boated around 15 today. It was crazy. Most were on the smallish side, though.

I agree. I hate catching them though. I usually catch a good one when I’m looking for the 5th fish or need a kicker. They fight like a mad 5 pounder. I get excited then let down.

Some day soon, I might take a day and target those and whites.

Great fish. Have caught a few much smaller one's and white's accidentally in the summer targeting LMG- never targeted the hybrid/strippers/white specifically. I know a lot of the guides will exclusively use shad to catch them- just curious if you'd have any luck with lures? slabs, deep divers, etc. Thanks!

Seriously, how did you know we were deadsticking? This is the bass fishing section and that thang is a bass. Hybrid, I think they call it. But it's a bass!
